CONCERT ATTIRE
The dress code for MVHS instrumental concerts is "Concert Black." Please wear formal attire that you feel comfortable moving around in. Everything from the waist down should be black. If you choose to wear a dress or skirt, opaque black nylons or tights should be worn underneath. If you choose to wear trousers, tall black socks should be worn. Shoes should be black and easy to walk in, you will be walking quickly on and off stage as we switch between ensembles.
If you have any questions or need help obtaining appropriate clothing, talk to your director as soon as possible.
CONCERT MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT
If you are requesting an absence from a performance of any kind for any reason, including school activities, it must be pre-approved to receive an alternate assignment. Turn in the pre-arranged absence form at a minimum of one month before the performance. In case of a medical emergency turn this completed form when you return to school.
