This camp runs for three hours each morning August 10-August 14 2026 culminating with a Friday afternoon concert and ice cream social. Our Middle School Summer Music Camp provides a unique opportunity for students entering 7th or 8th grade to continue their musical growth during the summer break.

During camp, students rehearse in a full concert band and participate in group lessons with our knowledgeable high school students, building important ensemble and individual musical skills. This summer camp is a great way for students to enter the next school year excited and ready to go! Through this music enrichment opportunity, your child will continue to build friendships and grow musically with other instrumental music students who share the same passion for playing their instrument.

Participation in the Middle School Summer Band Camp program is open to any band student who is advancing to 7th or 8th grade from ANY school district. Early registration is $75.00, any registration received from July 12th to the start of camp is $100.00

Funds collected through this event are received and managed by the MV Music Boosters group. This event/activity is NOT being sponsored by the Mount Vernon School District, and the District assumes no responsibility for the conduct or safety of the event/activity. In consideration for the privilege to distribute these materials, the Mount Vernon School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action, claim or petition filed in any court or administrative tribunal arising out of the distribution of these materials, including all costs, attorney's fees and judgments or awards.
