HEADER
Concert Band is a non-auditioned ensemble, if you are signing up for classes and have not yet auditioned, please add Concert Band to your schedule, it will be adjusted to match your music classes after your audition. If you choose not to audition for an advanced ensemble, you are not required to participate in marching or pep band, but are encouraged and welcome to join us.
HEADER 2
Auditions will be submitted online via Flipgrid. If you are unable to submit an online audition please email Mr. Scherr (jscherr@mvsd320.org)

This audition includes performing a chromatic scale, a minor etude, and Danny Boy. The audition material is available via the button above. This file includes all instruments as well as a score, please print out the pages that are applicable to the instrument you are auditioning on.

As a member of Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble, you are expected to participate in marching and pep band.
HEADER 3
Snare Audition
This audition includes a demonstration of your skills on the snare drum and reading percussion notation. The audition material can be accessed using the button above. All auditions are currently being submitted through Flipgrid. As a member of Percussion Ensemble, you are expected to participate in marching and pep band as part of our drumline.

Mallet Audition
This audition includes performing Minor Etude from the WIBC audition material, which can be accessed using the button above. All auditions are currently being submitted through Flipgrid. As a member of Percussion Ensemble, you are expected to participate in marching and pep band as part of our drumline.
HEADER 4
Jazz I & Jazz II
These ensembles take place during the same class period. All students interested in participating in Jazz band should add Jazz II to their schedule. The label on your schedule does not affect your ensemble placement. Auditions are held in class during the first two weeks of school.
